Mike and Dog Max
Mike Loesche, Owner
Our primary trainer, Mike Loesche, is a veteran, serving from 1987 to 1991 in the United States Marine Corps in the Surveillance Target and Aquisition Platoon (STA). He then worked for over 10 years at a close security prison in Ohio as a Corrections Officer. Mike was an Unarmed Self Defense and Firearms instructor for the State of Ohio and was a member of the Special Response Team. In addition, he was a Rifleman for the department. During this employment he assisted in the implementation and operation of the Rover Rehab Program, working with the Warren County Humane Society.
In addition to his training through the State of Ohio, Mike also graduated from the Tactical Explosive Entry School (TEES) in the Range Safety Officer/Close Quarter Battle Instructor course and Hostage Rescue/High Risk Warrant course. Mike is currently an instructor for the National Rifle Association for both the Basic Pistol Safety and the Personal Protection in the Home courses.
Mike's love for animals, and for working with people, has drawn him to become a professional dog trainer. He is a graduate of National K-9, an internationally recognized school for dog trainers, and is endorced by the State of Ohio as a Certified Professional Trainer. Mike recieved certifications to instruct Basic and Advanced Obedience, Service Dog Training, Tracking and Scent Detection, Puppy Preschool, Protection Training and Electronic Collar Training. Mike facilitates obedience and speacialty training as well as the "Learn to Obey While You Stay" residential training.
