I just watched the pit bull video. I did smile. I think that breed gets a bad wrap. Ocho is great. | |

The American Temperament Test Society was formed in 1977 to test the temperament of purebred dogs and spayed/neutered mixed-breeds. They perform a test much more strenuous than the AKC Canine Good Citizen test. The ATTS test includes such stimuli as gunshots and aggressive strangers. Below is the passing rate of American Pit Bull Terriers compared with other common breeds of dogs that it beat. Note that the APBT scores higher than the Golden Retriever...nothing against Goldies! Check out www.atts.org if you want to see the way the test works or check your breed's statistics.
